About our Soccer Training

What Players Say About Simply Soccer

  1. Our two boys have been training with Zach and Austin since we first moved to St. Louis. We feel so fortunate to now have access to the type of training that Simply Soccer offers. Brandon and Nick love the game of soccer, and while they do have their club team practices, it is the individualized and personal training they receive with S.S. that takes them to the next level. They have never before received this type of focus and attention with this sport. As parents we love it because it is highly effective training, but at the same time so fun for our boys. They always look forward to their weekly time with Zach or Austin. We could not be happier with the results they are experiencing on the field. It has made a huge difference in their level of play and has completely increased their confidence to perform in game situations.
One of our boys just won a club training 1st place trophy in his age group for a dribbling skill he has been working on with S.S. He also placed 4th in juggling out of all those boys, a skill he did not even have until being taught it properly at S.S.
Zach and Austin are extremely easy to communicate with and we feel they really read each boy well, and know what to work on with them each week to make them a more well rounded, effective player. They go above and beyond our expectations in training sessions. They are very professional and enthusiastic, and have become role models for our young boys. It is our strong opinion that Brandon and Nick would not be progressing as players like they are without Simply Soccer, and we are so grateful to Zach and Austin for everything they have done for them!

  2. Our son Ethan struggled with connecting the skill taught by his club with his confidence to execute his skill. Austin and his staff were able to help Ethan connect his skills and confidence. Ethan was able to make the B team at CBC as a freshman. We now see Ethan taking the initiative to develop himselft and is egar to engage on the soccer field at a very high level. Simply Soccer is the best investment you could make to take you child to the next level in this competitive enviroment here in St. Lous.

  3. We currently have our son Ryan training with Zach and I can't say enough positive things about our experience. Not only is Ryan’s improving his soccer skills, he is also feeling positive and having fun. As Zach knows, we're not unrealistic. This isn't about making him a star player, but more about helping him become an even stronger player. Ryan loves everything about soccer. It's a huge part of his life and a big part of his self confidence. Zach seems to really understand Ryan and his personal goals. Zach takes the time to talk with Ryan, and is always positive. He never lets the training session end on a bad ball...letting Ryan try again until he ends it with a great kick or crossbar competition. It's good to have someone to look up to - and that is how Ryan feels about Zach. No training session is ever the same. Everyweek is a new drill, a new way of attacking the ball. Zach focuses on the whole soccer player and not just on one skill or position. At the same time, if there is a particular goal Ryan wants to focus on, Zach knows different ways to work on that one skill. I can't stress enough how kind Zach is with Ryan. Ryan is truly enjoying every session and we can see improvements already. Zach continues to be always positive, whether it's hot, cold, rainy, or even an early 7:00am. on a Saturday morning. He's out there on the field with a smile on his face. He shows enthusiasm every week with Ryan and I never feel like we're wasting his time. He also takes the time to correspond with Ryan outside of training, suggesting fun YouTube soccer videos to watch or just sending him words of encouragement after hearing about a tough game. Zach definitely has a gift with his training. His technical and soccer skills are amazing but just as importantly, he knows how to work with my almost 13 year old son. We are very grateful for his time.
I also want to compliment how professional he has been with me, setting up training times, letting me voice my concerns, etc. He always responds to texts and is genuine. My husband too is very impressed with our experience working with Zach.

I just want to thank you and Zach. We plan to continue training with Zach for as long as he'll agree to work with Ryan..

  4. My son has trained with Simply Soccer for over a year now. I cannot say enough great things about Austin and Zach. My son started high school this fall and Austin went above and beyond to make sure he was fully prepared both mentally and physically for high school tryouts. What I love about Simply Soccer is they will develop a personalized training program for your child based off his or her strengths and weaknesses. I have seen many positive changes in my son's game since he started training with Austin. Not only has his technical game improved tremendously over the past year, his confidence has improved as well. If you want your child to gain a competitive edge over his or her opponents, this is the training!!! You will not find a more dedicated, hard working staff who truly cares about your child and their individual development. The personalized training offered at Simply Soccer LLC is far superior to any training my son has received to this point.

  5. I love simply soccer. I could definitely see a change in my results instantly. The training I got from Zach and Austin was fun yet productive. They both brought a lot to the table from having experience with college ball. It's definitely worth it. I really feel like its helped my conditioning and ball skills tremendously. I've never seen such good results in such a short period of time!

This is the greatest thing me and my parents have invested our money in. "You can only be the player you work to be," and if you are willing to push yourself and strive to get better this is the thing for you. BEST TRAINING EVERRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Simply Soccer presents an opportunity for developing soccer players to gain a competitive edge over their opponents through personal soccer training using drills from the top coaches in the world. This one on one training is unique because it focuses solely on the overall advancement of each individual player and their needs.

Each training session is designed to increase a players efficiency in the offensive, defensive, and mental aspect of the beautiful game. This is achieved through controlled repetition. Performing our effective drills the right way, over and over again, properly shapes movements and actions resulting in quicker, smarter, and more instinctual play in games.

Our drills are the same drills used by soccer coaches training the world's top teams in Holland.

Every player has different needs. Therefore, each private lesson will be created relative to the needs of each individual player.

Offensive, Defensive, & Fitness Training

Offensive soccer training focuses on a number of drills that involve foot skills, head balls, shooting, passing, and ball contact.

Defensive soccer training focuses primarily on technique, tackling, heading, positioning, and shielding.

Fitness is also an option, but only incorporated into the program on request. Fitness training focuses on endurance, proper stretching techniques, and bodyweight resistance training.

Pricing & Locations

The cost per training session is $35. Each session is one hour long and you are in control of the training schedule. Before your first private lesson, we will discuss what you would like to focus on and create a battery of drills to assess your player's abilities. This allows us to pinpoint areas for improvement that we will focus on in further training.

Training locations include:

Creve Coeur Park,
Scott Gallagher Soccer Complex,
C.B.C. High School.
